At Wiggles Senior Dog Sanctuary, we are dedicated to giving senior dogs the love-filled retirement they deserve. Too often, older dogs are overlooked, surrendered, or abandoned. We provide them with:
A forever home where they feel safe and cherished
Quality veterinary care and proper nutrition
Warm beds, gentle walks, and endless snuggles
Founded by Debbie and Steve Howard, Wiggles began with a simple belief: that every dog, no matter their age, has a heart full of love to give.
OUR INSPIRATION
Wiggles was a sweet little dachshund who came to us with her brother, Little Bear. They were both 15 years old—full of love, a little slower on their paws, and grateful for every gentle touch.
Wiggles was blind, but she never let that dim her spirit. She found her way through life with trust, courage, and the sweetest little tail wiggle you’ve ever seen
Not long ago, Wiggles suffered a stroke and crossed the rainbow bridge. Though she’s no longer by our side, her love and bravery will forever guide us.
This sanctuary is named in her honor—to carry on her spirit of comfort, second chances, and unconditional love for senior dogs who deserve a soft place to land.
Because of Wiggles, every dog who comes here is family.
To ensure no senior dog spends their final years forgotten or alone.

Little Bear’s New Beginning
